when people say world pvp, does this means you make a pvp char and then theres like a whole place you can run about and attack who ever you want or what?

Considering that they stated that there won't be PvE and PvP specific characters I'm assuming this will be either free-for-all, or designated to specific areas/servers.

pvp of any sort will ONLY happen in the mists... no RP'ing in the real world

Let's face it -- there's only so much fun you can sqeeze out of one game, and I've been in this since open beta.

I am enjoying doing some PVE with my seven year old grandson, and he's starting to get pretty good at it.

No not really.

It'll only be a week or so before all the carebears cry for equipment that scale with their levels,and Guild Wars 2 will become another generic MMO.

mists is basically free for all run what you brung type pvp.

formal PVP is separate from the mists and whatever character you are using is maxed for the duration of your pvp returning to its PVE normal state when you return to PVE

PVE persistant non agro cooperative area which is persistant with hourly/daily/weekly events/things happening and instanced missions/quests/dungeons/etc

not quite buddy, the mists is the new battle isle, especially as the battle isle is now under water according to the PC GAmer history lesson
